Icing:

8 oz package
|
cream cheese, softened
|
1/2 c
|
butter, softened
|
2 c
|
powdered sugar, sifted
|
1 tsp
|
vanilla extract

Preparation Procedures:
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Using an electric mixer at medium speed, combine the eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
3. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix at low speed until thoroughly combined and the batter is smooth.
4. To make icing, combine cream cheese and butter with electric mixer until smooth. Add sugar and mix at low speed until combined. Stir in vanilla and mix again.
5. Spread batter into greased 13 x 10 inch baking pan. Bake 30 minutes. Let cool thoroughly before frosting. Cut into bars.
Yield: 48 small bars or 24 large bars
