Preparation Procedures:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease some cookie sheets.
2. Beat butter until smooth and add sugar and blend.
3. Mix in egg, then peanut butter.
4. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Then add to first mixture.
5. Roll into balls with your hands, about 1 inch. Bake 15 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven put an unwrapped kiss in the middle of each cookie.

Test for Doneness: Browned edges
