Butter (do not use margarine)

Confectioner’s sugar

4 1/2 c.

All purpose-flour

Granulated sugar

Preparation Procedures:
1. Cream butter and confectioner’s sugar in a large mixing bowl.

2. Mix in flour.
3. Press mixture onto a cookie sheet (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1inch). Prick all over with a fork, being sure to prick all the way to the bottom of the pan.
4. Sprinkle with granulated sugar (colored sugar is optional for a holiday touch)
Pan Size & Preparation: cookie sheet (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1inch)
Oven Temperature: Bake at 325 degrees
Baking Time: 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares while hot. Place the pan on a wire rack to cool.
