Lemon Ice

                                                                        
Quantities                Ingredients
1/2 c.
Lemon juice

Grated rind of 2 lemons
1 1/2 c.
Sugar
4 c.
Half and half

Preparation Procedures:

1. Combine lemon juice, rind, and sugar.  Let stand for 3 hours or more.  Add half and half and freeze. 

2. When frozen to a mush, beat with a mixer until smooth, but not melted.  Refreeze and serve.
